Stress Solutions

I got some news today that totally stressed me out. Like, major stress.

Solution: bake myself a cake and eat the whole thing by myself in two days.

There is nothing like sugar to make you feel fat and stressed instead of just stressed.

Is it good stress or bad stress?

Good stress = baked goods.
Bad stress = large quantities of alcohol.

TWO days? Must have been a big cake.

{{{Hugs to you}}}}

See, stress is why I have decided to stop trying to make a living wage as a writer and to enter the Pillsbury Bake-Off instead.

In the past two weeks I have come up with--and single-handedly ingested--Peanut Butterscotch Bars, Vermont Morning Maple Bars, Chocolate-Coconut Chex 'N Kixx and a little snacklet I like to call Death By Frosting.

Sure, the Bake-Off has an entree division and one called "Healthful Meals" or something, I don't know, but has a chicken and green bean casserole ever eased a frantic mind like a sweet melting or crunchy dessert?

I rest my case. You did your best.

Wendy--hoping it was good stress.
